26th September 2008. Mild soft ale - a little hops but somewhat apologetic. The palate is also watery which doesn’t help this beer.

From cask. Pours almost fully clear and golden yellow with a fuly diminished white head. Citrusy towards more dry spiced hoppy aroma. Dry and hoppy base flavour with a solid acidic note and light fruity touch into the far finish. Dry and bitter into the far finish.

Cask, Black Pig, Cardiff. Slightly hazy golden colour with a smallish off white head. Aroma was sweet malt and fragrant hop with a dose of citrus. Flavour had similar elements and was very clean tasting, with a very long and lingering dry bitter finish.

Bottle conditioned. Golden coloured with a slight white head and yeast haze. Aroma of pineapple and citrus fruit. The flavour was slightly sweet with a dry, grassy hop finish. Good.
