Cask @ Royal Oak, London. RBESG 2011. Pours clear amber with a white head. Tart fruit, yeast and cereal. Medium bodied. Ends bitter.

Cask at the Royal Oak, RBESG 2011. Orange-copper color, flat. Amber malt flavor with a peppery hop finish. Light aroma of grassy hops and pepper. OK.

From cask at Royal Oak. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and mild peachy to herbal. Bitter, herbal and grassy, mild citrusy. Bitter and dry, yet fruity finish.

Amber with a small white head. Aroma of grassy hops, caramel and fruit, with a hint of sulphur. Sweetish caramel flavour and medium bitterness.

Cask@Royal Oak Pale amber color, small white head. A bit sticky woody hoppy nose. Pale malty, some twisted yeasty notes, woody hops. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Kind of unbalanced ale.

Cask (Royal Oak,London) - Amber in colour. Malty aroma with a hint of hops and fruit. Malty and fruity taste with a light bitterness.

Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, SE1 1/8/08. Pale amber in colour with a moderate, off-white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, summer fruits and earthy hops. Flavour started with some fruity malt, more yeast and a long, dry finish. Very drinkable.

(Cask at Royal Oak, Borough, London, 5 Aug 2007) Pale copper colour with brief head. Fruity, nutty nose with earthy hops and slightly meaty, brothy aromas. Fruity, nutty taste with decent earthy bitterness and slightly yeasty notes in the finish. Fairly light body. Nice, unmistakable Harveys character, but a bit short.

Cask (handpump) @ Royal Oak, SE1 Borough, London. Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Cask@Royal Oak, Borough. Pale golden colour, not much head. Aroma is fruity hops along with some wooden hints. Flavour is wooden, vegetably and slightly fruitish hoppy. Wellbalanced, but quite empty in the palate.
