Cask at Royal Oak. Amber golden colour with small white head. Aroma is a bit sock-like and a bit creamy. Slightly stinky/sulphur. Taste is malty, and a bit bready. Not much bitterness. Pretty unremarkable for me.

Tap at Royal Oak. Doughy, malty, minimally hopped Pale Ale. Toffee is the main flavor component. Rather boring, standard cask feel.

On cask at the Royal Oak. Smooth fresh and mild beginning. Not too deep but round and fresh. Malty, ale flavour, earthy with a mild and easy to drink fresh malty aroma. Nice and round and refreshing!

Cask at Royal Oak, Borough. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The nose is earthy, brown bread, cereal, toasty, mild sweetness and touch of egg from the Harvey’s house blend. The taste is quite light, decent bitterness, toasty grain, cereal, brown bread, earth and leather with a dry, breast finish Medium body and soft carbonation. Easy-drinking malty session ale. A classic cask ale.

Cask at the Royal Oak - Borough, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a frothy, white head. Crispy grains in the nose with a bit of toasty hay and bread. Light sweet flavor with mild doughy bread, hints of brown sugar, dirty hay and light grassy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Light grass and orange rind bitterness to finish, some husky grains, toasted sugars, bread. Lovely little sessioner.
