Bottle at home in London - picked up at the Lab. Pours mostly clear gold with a thick, lasting creamy white head. Pleasant doughy biscuits and white bread in the aroma, some cereal, a bit of meringue. Light-medium sweet flavor with some grainy cereal, more biscuits, slight husky hay, toasted sugars, faint citrus notes. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Finishes somewhat sweet, with baked cereal, hints of tangy lemon, straw, biscuits. Overall, it’s not bad, but the biscuit character could be a bit more pronounced, and a little more bitterness would balance things out better. Still, it’s fairly enjoyable.
