A traditional beekeepers ale, pale yellow, a fruity bitter with an initial sweetness progressing to a complex dry hoppy taste based on an old nineteenth century recipe.Enville Ale is produced using 100% Maris Otter floor malted barley and top fermenting ale yeast. It is processed through an initial very rapid fermentation followed by a priming process using selected honeys which are specially processed (patent pending) and then allowed to secondary ferment before being lagered (stored at cold temperature) for a precise period of time. This process enables the brewery to produce conditioned beer with a controlled yeast count in cask - the result is a traditional cask conditioned beer in which the carbonation has been carefully controlled.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton Pours a greenish yellow with a small white head. The nose is just vaguely lemony. In the mouth it is light and creamy featuring lemon and honey, but also with a hoppy undercurrent. Finish is sweet and hoppy. Nothing special.

Half-pint, well kept cask ale at Ancient Briton. Covering white head over a clear golden body, laces well. Moderate aroma of mid-sweet malts and mid-sweet fruity hops. Honeyed sweet malt-fruity flavours. Fresh bittersweet finish. Decent bitter. (Pen-y-Cae, Glamorgan 02.10.2018).

Skipton Beer Festival 2016. Blonde coloured ale. Best described as a sweet ale with a fruitiness rather than the other way around.

Cask, Gravity at the on site Festival Bar Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Sunday 23rd August 2014 Pours warm gold or perhaps edging towards a very light amber. Honey on the nose but not really in the mouth. A fairly traditional bitter, fruity, dry bitter with not too much sweetness at all, a pretty decent effort, tangy and pleasant. A7 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.4

Cask hand pull at the bell and bear Oldbury. Pale golden colour with a lasting dense cream head and some lace. Aroma is grainy dusty malt, fairly subtle zest. Flavour is fairly plane with light honey malt. The palate is smooth and creamy. Easy drinking in offensive.
