Bottle at home in London - picked up at London Beer Lab. Opens with a hiss. Pours clear gold, actively effervescent, with a dense, frothy white head. There’s a fair bit of grass in the aroma, along with dried grains and orange rind. Light sweet flavor, dominated by grassy bitterness, toasted hay, straw, some bitter grain husk, subtle pale malt sugars. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, with further prominent grassy bitterness, faint hop oils, more rindy citrus, some grapefruit pith, grain, straw. Pretty good stuff overall.
