Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford. Pours golden yellow with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. There’s floral hops and oranges in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet smooth and creamy, but with a little underlying bitterness. There’s a zest to the fruity flavour – lemon, orange and citrus plus hitns of kiwi. Finish is more bitter and slightly dry. Nice and refreshing – this is decent.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Light brownish gold and clear with a fluffy off-white head. Light malty aroma, some grapefruit pith, some tannic tea. Sweet taste with a touch of fruty sourness, a little citrus peel. Long balanced finish. Nice beer if a little bit messy.

Cask. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, toffeeish and some mild zesty and honey like notes. Flavour is zesty, som honeu, grass, herbs and mild wooden notes. In a way quite basic, but still a good and drinkable beer.

Cask stillage at the Solihull CAMRA festival 2014. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is citrus yeast. The flavour is medium bitter with a yeast, light malt earthy mineral palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.
