Reviewed from notes.
Can to mug.
Appearance: amber/red color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which slipped off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: grassy/earthy/hay tones with some wet grains and deep bready rich clean malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet malty richness; lingering finish of those rich bready malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, clean smoothness and subtly creamy
Overall: awwwww yeah! Lost Nation droppin' da boom on how to brew a Marzen!

Meg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, bright gold with a lasting, creamy white head. Lots of rich, bready malts in the nose, light hay, yeast, cereal. Light to medium sweet flavor with crispy cereal, lightly grainy bread, mild dirty hay. Light to medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Sweet finish with faint hay bitterness, some husky grains and cereal, further tasty bread. Great stuff. Really nails the style. If I tased this blind I would guess it is German.
