Gravity cask at the Bree Louise, London. Pours dark brown with ruby highlights and a slight, off-white foam head. Filter coffee and roasted malt aroma. Lightly sweet flavor with dark, sour malts, which I’m not really into. Some light peat and roast. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sour malt finish, faint wood, peat, earth, roast. Hard to tell if this beer is in poor condition or if it’s just a poor British porter.
