6.8/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 6 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 6
Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a mild glossy yellow color with a thin cap of a white head. Mild lace.
The aroma starts off with some hay, grassy hops, mild sweet malts (somewhat corn to toast, slightly bready to biscuity).
The flavor copies the aroma mostly. Mostly bready sweet aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation rides nice and low.
Overall, interesting take on a Bitter, definitely crushable if anything. I might be able to come back to this.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours lightly unclear yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Nice beer, with simple pale malts, moderate dryness, light cereal and a bit of lemon rind. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes well with further pale bread, mild bitter hay, some lemony hops. Very decent.
