Sampled on draft at Hugo's this beer poured a black color with a large foamy brown head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dark fruit and chocolate. The flavor was berry, toasty malts, chocolate and whiskey. Long finish with growing booziness. Moderately full bodied and very smooth.

Sample at Old Skool during the BA Great Lakes Tap Takeover on 05/18/2017. Brown-black color with a medium thin khaki head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Sticky small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate and berries. Medium body with flavors of oaky bourbon, chocolate malt and raspberry. The finish is bourbon up front with a raspberry and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
