Sampled on draft at Urban Tap this beer poured an orange-brown color with a large creamy beige head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was faint overall but malty and a touch toasty with a bit of caramel. The flavor was toasty malts, caramel and a bit of bread. Medium length finish. Medium body.

This beer is a clear dark brown color with some amber around the edges, and a medium frothy light beige head that recedes gradually to a film. Sparse strings of lace. Roasted nuts, caramel and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, nuts and a bit of salted chocolate. The finish is sweet with a malt and caramel aftertaste. Decent overall.
