Sampled at Warsaw Beer Festival, spring 2018. Unclear golden body with a dense white head. This is actually a rather interesting beer which got my attention quite randomly based on a chat with the brewer who handle me a sample and told me that this was a very dificult beer to sell in Poland. In between all these fruity IPA’s this name wasn’t exactly among my first choices, but the sample made me order a couple of full glasses to get a bit more familiar with this one. It does not make much of it at first, but has some complexity to be discover. Not to be mistaken by any fruit juicy NEIPA stuff, this is like a beer that tastes beer with SOME fruit added, not strong but well pronounced and quite complex as there seems to be all kinds of fruit here in a well balanced way so nothing really stands out in front of anything else. The beer itself is well present and is not like a typical American hops IPA, something between a British and Belgium IPA, it has a nice bitterness but the hop flavors is unusually and in combination with typical Belgium spicy yeast this one tastes like a Belgium beer with more hops than normally and fruit flavor in a different, not so sweet way. It’s actually not very strong in alcohol either. Well brewed, fine balance, god complexity and rather interesting. One of the beers from this festival that I really remembered afterwards.
