Purchased from a mixed 6 pack at Rick's in Alexandria. Bottle. Virtually no head. There was an alcohol aroma, but definitely not as strong smelling as the regular Millennium.Nice! The others had fallen off a lot more.

12 oz painted bottle shared by Gregis. Bottled on 111706 stamped on the label. Pour is hazed orange ruby amber with a very minimal off white head. Nice lacing for a beer without much head. Aroma of initial sweet caramel maltiness, followed quickly behind by a dry dusty sherry - nice but a touch oxidized with quite a bit of cardboard showing through. Taste is the nose, caramel sweet malts, followed by dusty oxidized cardboard minor sour earthiness. Palate is medium, the oxidized cardboard nature thins it out a little bit. Really no alcohol present. Nice stuff, thanks for sharing this one Greg.

Beautiful red-amber color. The aroma has an elegant vanilla presence and Bourbon whisky touch. Full mouthfeel, sweet, malty, with a vanilla touch and rum flavor. Well balanced by a strong bitterness.
Comparison to the non oak aged version. This one has less malt aroma, less complex flavor, less alcohol feeling, less bitterness, a thinner body. It’s softer. A different beer, to drink once in a while.

From nflmvp. Aroma is cherry/sherry alcohol, cheap fruit punch, some vegetable. Overall a nasty sweetness. Taste is light orange and lots of barleywine alcohol. A light body and overall not impressive beer. Very astringent artificial sweetness all over this beer. Will put another bottle away for a while, maybe some age will improve this mess. 12oz bottle, bottled 11/20/06, Hobgoblin tulip glass.
