Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Fresh coffee and caramel in the aroma. Medium bodied. Freshly milled coffee, molasses and a hint of chocolate in the flavor. Just a hint of malty sweetness. Pleasant porter.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of tbone_. Clear, dark brown with an orange hue and a small, rough, off-white head. Aroma of burned malt and cocoa. Quite light in body with hard roasted malt accents, a little chocolate and licorice with a light, underlying sweetness. There’s a vague malt bitterness in the finish. A light Porter but a nice one. 120108

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also light roasted notes. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt as well as light notes of caramel. The body is thin.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a diminished light brown head. Quite smooth chocolate aroma. Flavour is nicely roasted, yet light. Flavour also holds a nice chocolate smoothness and mild bitterness. Finish has a nice roasted malt bitterness. Light and quite enjoyable. rerate: slight smoked and chocolate flavoured, nice.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear dark brown. Strong coffee aroma. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel and fairly light body. Lots of freshly ground coffee and a lovely malt character. Salty finish. Good porter!

500ml bottle from Booths. First up I must mention that I think that this is filtered and pasteurised. Very dark brown colour with disappearing beige head. I met the brewer and he is a great bloke, shame that this is not a live beer (as far as I could work out). Aroma of sourish dark malt. Good dark fruits. Bit of charcoal, but too carbonated and a bit metallic and empty in body. Still quite good, but would be so much better live or in cask.

Bottled. Dark rubyreddish brown colour with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, smoke, licorace and ashy. Some slight wooden hints are also present. Flavour is strong roasted malts, with some burnt wooden-sourish hints. Also some licorace and coffee in the flavour. Aftertaste is mainly coffeeish bitterness. Easy to drink, and the carbonation tickles the tongue in a nice way. A bit thin palate, but otherwise good.
