Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an den Bodensee!): Deep golden, small and stable white foam; slightly alcoholic sweetish pale-malty nose with a molecular dose of herbal hops; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, medium bodied; alcoholic sweetish-malty finish with light traces of vegetables. Disappointing.....

Swing-top bottle. Sweet malt and sour milk aroma. Clear amber color with moderate head. Sweet malt flavor up front with a bitter/mildly astringent alcohol finish. Not much to it.

(swing top bottle, delivered properly by Quack-Duck – thanks & Happy New Year!) Clear, amber colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet cara-malty and slightly nutty aroma with herbal spice and initially a tinge of vegetables, which fades quickly. Sweet and shy bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Cara-malty and slightly (wal-)nutty taste with notes of biscuits and light herbal accents; sweet-bitter, malt-accented, slightly nutty finish with herbal hops and a ringe of alcohol. Decent and solid pale Bock. 02.I.10

Bottle. Clear amber color with a average frothy to creamy good lacing light off-white head. Aroma is ligth to moderate malty, toffee, roasted, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. The is a good and fresh bock. :o)

Huge, dense and miscellaneous yellowish head, tenacious; over amber-shot golden beer. Nutty nose, sweet-bready (but not cloying), (autumn)leafy again. Alcohol seeps into the smell. Sweet, alcoholic, almond, caramalt. Quite complex without advertising it. Iodium? Superbly balanced, by any means. Slightly viscous, oily, very slick and creamy, not in the least because of the alcohol. This is a good Bock! Thanks very much, Sebastian!
