Clear amber with white head. Deep malty smoke aroma and taste. Strong spicyness as well. Fine balanced and okay body. Reminds me anyway of the best spice in the underworld -Bacon!!!

Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a small fizzy fair lacing white head. Aroma is malty (SMOKEY). flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. A very nice smoked beer comming from out side Bamberg ;o)

bottle - Pours copper with a moderate head. The aroma is malty with lots of smoke. The flavor matches it with very obvious, assertive smokiness. It’s fairly sweet and quite drinkable, but I really think the smokiness is too dominant. Nevertheless, it’s good and definitely worth trying.

Cloudy copper to orange in color with a medium off white head. Full on smoke aroma. Nice moderate smoke flavor back up by a little sweet malt. There also seems to be some hop bitterness hidden behind the main flavor, smoke. The aftertaste is smoke, some malt and bitterness which is pretty much the same as the taste.

Dark amber with light haze. Sour aroma of wood smoke and caramel. Full body with creamy, caramelly malts. Light smoke hangs around but doesn’t say anything. A smoked beer that doesn’t taste like it wants to be a smoked beer. And what would the point of that be?
