A colablack beer with a weak and light brown head. Aroma is interesting and unique, marzipane, roasted malts and milk chocolate. Taste of balanced roastiness, marzipane, flowers, hint of chocolate, quite dry aftertaste with coffee. Medium bodied, quite smooth to drink. Weird and unique beer, maybe not so succesfull, but nonetheless quite charming.

500 ml. bottle, shared at the summerhouse. Black with a tan head. Sweet aroma with milk chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, coffee, caramel and light toast. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy, milk-like texture, average carbonation. Medium length finish with chocolate milk, coffee and caramel. To much akin a chocolate milk for my taste buds.

Sample @ Porterfestivalen in Gothenburg on November 19. Pours reddish brown with a pale brown head. Smell is dominated by milk chocolate to the extent that I can’t detect the smell of much else. Nice, if a bit one-dimensional. Taste is sweet with sweet fruits, milk chocolate and sweet liquorice candy. Finish is light and sweet. Rerate, bottle @ Haket

(Bottle, Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 8 July 2011) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of chocolate, vanilla, hazel nuts and roasted malt. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, cocoa, vanilla and Plopp (Swedish chocolate covered caramel bars). Medium body, quite dry, with some cocoa bitterness. This is all about chocolate and cocoa, but the relative dryness makes it quite fresh and well balanced. Nice one.

Unglaublich schokoladiger Geruch mit leicht süßen Tönen. Schokoladiger Antrunk, der in Teilen künstlich wirkt, der insgesamt aber nur wenig stört. Wenig fruchtig, schokoladenmalzig, am Anfang noch vollmundig, später aber etwas wässriger. Hier auch etwas künstlicher wirkend, leicht bitter. Bottle @ Home. Pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma is strong vanilla, sweet light chocolate.Taste is much like aroma with roasted malt caramel, chocolate and vaniilla. Thinm to medium body, soft carbonation. 301210

Pours dark brown with a off-white head. The aroma has notes of sweet milk chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long sweet chocolate and nutty finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
