Medium pale brown head. Pretty deep red body. Roasty chocolate and toffee aroma with hoppy notes. Dry roasty minty pine needle taste with chocolate pudding and coffee notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry chocolatey coffee aftertaste with burnt minty notes. Very nice and highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle, Super Spar, Vejby Strand.)

500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 5%. Organic. Black colour, reddish brown in the highlights. Big to moderate beige head. Roasty aroma with notes of dark chocolate, liquorice and coffee. The mostly dry flavour has some initial hints of acidity, and the mouthfeel could be fuller. Moderate roasty notes of coffee, hints of cocoa, "dusty" hops in the finish. Fair enough, but not the best stout I’ve had.

bottle 50cl from superbest allerød. pours dark brown settles almost black, with a small smooth brown head. was hard to make a head on this one. best before 22-02-09 sampled 06-02-09. as i just bot it, it must’ve been hiding somewhere in retail for quite a while. aroma is toffee, dark malts, coffee, brown sugar, dark caramel. flavor is quite sweet for a stout, otherwise it reminds me a lot of guinness, dry, grainy. good session beer if you like dark beer. one day i’ll blindtest this with a poor victim against a guinness and see what happens.

500ml bottle picked up at SuperBest in Valby. Nice beige head over a very dark body, leaving nice lacing on the glass. Vague aroma of chocolate. Initial sharp dark malts in flavour followed by a touch of dark, hopped fruits. Flat. Ok dry stout (hotel room, 11.09.2008).

Tap @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Dark color. Aroma of rye, bit roasted. Bit too ryish taste for me.

Bottled (thanks to mirjukka for sharing). Deep ambery brown colour with beigeish brown colour. Roasted malts, wood, some grass, nuts and chocolate in the aroma. Flavour is quite much the same with flowery hops coming through also.

Dark brown color, very small off-white head. Milk chocolaty, toasted aroma. Cold coffee, dark malts. Watery palate. A bit sweet malty finish. Dry aftertaste. Ok stout although nothing really special.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a red shine under a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw, roasted malt, and a touch of chocolate. The flavor is very sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and straw, leading to a dry bitter chocolate finish.
