(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized and off-white foamy head. Initially sulphuric aroma that fades a bit after a short while, later cara-malty nose with hints of bread crusts and Bavarian Blockmalz. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Mildly toasted malt character with present notes of caramel, Blockmalz, mildly crusty accents and shy bittering and spicy hops in the background, again some hints of sulphur; a tad slim, mildly sweet and slightly toasted malty finish with notes of caramel. Not really a highlight. 14.V.16
