This mixed fermented saison aged for over 2 years in Sangiovese barrels is our first release from our barrel ageing program. Gentle aromas of honey blossom and orange creep out over the barnyard and acetic notes of this classic and complex sour.

750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.8%. Slightly hazy golden colour, small white head of poor retention. Aroma of lambic yeast, lactic acid, farmhouse, lemons, oak and dry white wine. Very sour flavour with notes of oak, brettanomyces, lemons, lactic acid and white wine vinegar. In a blind test I would be sure that this beer was a gueuze lambic, and not a saison.
