Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy beige head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was malty with molasses and wood. The flavor was toasty and a bit roasty with wood followed by hints of coffee and cocoa. Long malty coffee finish. Medium body.
