Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a spicy malty caramel aroma. Sweet malty and spicy flavor with hints of caramel and yeast. Has a slightly spicy finish with hints of caramel in the aftertaste.

Bottle: Deep golden, hazy, smaller lacy white head, sweet-malt and fruity orange-peel in the nose, some spices and shy hops, a taste of Glühwein is detectable, too; medium bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; short sweet-spicy finish. A Glühbier........

Bottled (BB 01/2009)
Reddish nut brown color, small beige head. Yeasty, bun aroma, light spices. Christmas spicey (clove, cinnamon) flavor, yeasty brew with "muddy" palate. A bit too simple, oh, it is a brown ale.

Unclear orange with creamy off white head. Cristmas spices all over: Nutmeg, coriander, orange. Sweet honey taste - aroma is better than taste. Good lacings. OK I guess!

Reddy brown with thin off white head. Bit smokey on nose, but really nice malts too and some blackberry fruit. Some good sourness, some tea. Really nice grapefruit/raspberry fruits in here too along with a bit of toffee flavour in the mouth. Good citrus fruit/hop finish. Really rather nice with good choc/lime finish. Good beer
