Cask at Horsens Beerfestival. Clear, golden beer with a white head leaving nice lacings. Toffee-notes and malt in the aroma. The flavor has the same toffee-notes, malt, caramel, some hoppy fruityness and sweetness. Thin body. A nice, but quite ordinary beer. Rating: 5-3-6-3-12-2.9. 061028
Cask at The Wharf. Fruity, apricot, dried fruits and roasted aroma. The flavor is a bit boring, as many cask ales, with a light citrusy touch to the malty, biscuity flavor. Some metal in the finish, with a good bitterness. Medium body, dryish. A decent ale indeed, but it doesn’t ring any of my bells. 101020

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a thin bubbly orange head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity - primarily peaches, but also a hint of strawberries. The flavor is sweet again with a strong presence of fruit - and again peaches being most dominant - the fruityness also gives it a subdued acidity, that draws a bit of mouthwater and makes it very refreshing. The end is slightly bitter. A good thirst quencher after working hard gathering the harvest.
