Cask at the John Harvey Tavern, Lewes. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeasty, woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, smooth, yeasty, earthy, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Cask at The Hurst Arms, Eastbourne. Interesting to see this. It had notes of wheat beer to it and it was rather sweet and rich tasting. Improved as you went through it after cloying start. Nice bright Amber gold.

Cask at the St Albans beer festival 2022. A clear mid orange coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is earthy grains, mild funk, green apple, grass, hint of toffee malts. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, spicy citrus, barnyard funk, grass, green liquorice firm hop bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, good cask condition. Unique characterful hoppy gold.

Cask @ The Railway, Hebden Bridge. Golden-amber with a head. Unfotunately had turned to vinegar on my sampling, it had obviously been on the pump too long so the review says more about the pub than the actual ale - I'll endeavour to try this again sometime.

Cask at The Royal Oak (1 whole pint dare I say). It pours clear deep gold - copper with a decent white head. The aroma is is toasty grain, bitter-sweet, brown bready, earthy, wood, leather, bit of spice and some soft fruit. The taste is dry, bitter, brown bread, earthy, toasty grass, woody, leather, cereal, spice, soft sweetness and a touch of fruit with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. As expected this is much more characterful than the crappy bottled version. Well rounded and has some nice subtle complexity. Nice.
