Amber with a lasting off-white head. Smoke dominate the aroma, especially of the bacon variety, some leather and a touch of medicine. Sweet flavour with bacon notes.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazzlenut brown with a dense light brown head. Rubber, tar and smoked aroma. Flavour is dry, slight honey like beneath a persisting heavy smoke note. Ends mild but still heavy smoked.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma is smoke. Taste is smoke and smoke and maybe a hint of hops. Quite watery too. Smoked can be good but usually in combination with other flavors. This one is pure smoke thus not very tasty in my opinion.

Bottled. Golden, with a dense off-white head. Pleasant aroma with lightly smoked malt tobacco, hints of smoked pork and hops. Flavor has some caramel too, along with smoked malt, tobacco and hops. A bit too thin body and a long, smoked and well-hopped finish. A pleasant surprise from Søgaard. (060707)

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Hazy pale amber. Dominated by salty well sweated sauna smoke. Dryish with rounded mouthfeel and medium body. The somewhat bold malt makes it hard for the flavours to come out properly, and when they do I get some cellary notes. Not entirely succesful.
