Pours black with small tan head. Roasted aroma with coffee, chocolate and cacao beans. Pretty dry aroma and taste. Tastes of sweet chocolate and vanilla together with dry bitterness of coffee and burnt malt. Very smooth and pleasant to drink.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with medium light tan head. Aroma of dried fruit, spicy coffee, green bell pepper, toffee, caramel, chocolate, bread and light vanilla. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of coffee, vanilla, toffee and bell pepper. Light to medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. OK, but a bit thin and weird coffee notes (bell pepper).

Bottle from Systembolaget, bought in September 2011. Dark with a small head. Aroma and taste of raw coffee, some green chili and dark chocolate. The body was on the light side. Drinkable stuff.

Aroma has espresso(!), well roasted malt and some dark chocolate. Flavour is rather high on espresso. Also some dark chocolate, licorice and hints of herbs. Delicious beer for coffee lovers like me. Would be even better if the palate hadn’t been a bit watery.

Flaske på Cafe Blaagaards Apotek: behagelig aroma av mørk malt, lakris og kaffe (og rabarbra sier Einar). Kort skum. Nydelig balansert og flott munnfylde. God!
