Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with orange highlights and a large foamy brown head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweetish with anise, vague baking spices and chili pepper. The flavor was sweet and malty with cinnamon and hot pepper. Long finish. Full bodied and very smooth.
