On tap at Nørrebro brewpub. Clear amber with a purple hue, off white head. Aroma of stale spices, cinnamon, amber malts, light metallic. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, cinnamon, metal, stale spiciness again, amber malts, light grainy, light bitter finish. Light bodied. Not my cup of tea.

Bottle @ Home. Pours darkl brown with a small shortlasting ffwhite head. Aroma of malt, anis, "brune kager", cinnamon. Taste is malt, anis, caramel, brown sugar, xmas spices. Spices isnt as dominant in the taste as aroma. Thin body, lively carbonation. Rather boring, to sweet and spicy xmas beer. 041211

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Fàntastic dark red amber colour. MOderate malty and hoppy aroma. Rasin notes. Moderate bitter spicey flavor. Some candis notes. Average moderate bitter finish.

Bottle. brown beer with a tan head. Spice and caramel aroma with malt and light darker malts. Malt and Christmas spice flavor with light caramel. Medium bodied. Sweet malt lingers with Christmas spice.

Bottle: Poured a deep lightly hazy amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of caramel malt with light dry notes of rye malt also noticeable. Taste is a refreshing mix of light sweet caramel malt with light notes of rye with no significant hops presence. Body is fuller then average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Easily drinkable with enough complexity. This could be a nice session ale if it was more affordable with a little bit less alcohol.

Import from the LCBO and comes in a 600ml brown bottle. Pours a copper-red colour with a frothy beige head, decent retention and lacing. Very nice spicy aromas, with mostly cinnamon (maybe light nutmeg and ginger) and some light dark fruit notes in the back. Smooth mouthfeel that goes down well, with no burning alcohol. Roasted malt flavours with some more dark fruits (raisins, plum, fig) and the spices not as much felt in the taste. Just a great spiced beer to warm you up in winter time.
