Da vi bryggede denne øl første gang, var det meste julebryg sødt, mørkt, stærkt og fyldt med julekrydderier. Altså ikke specielt velegnet til det gode, danske julefrokostbord. Så vi var enige om at denne øl skulle være et mildere og friskere alternativ.
Jule Hvede er ravrød og har en fin, afrundet maltsmag. Øllet har en god balance mellem kanel og en let, krydret sødme med strejf af nelliker. Helt fortjent en meget populær øl til jul.

From bottle at my parents’ place 14.11.22. Cloudy dark straw colour. Diminishing off-white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of sweet pale malt, nuts and moderate hops.

50cl bottle from a trade with fonefan, thanks! A slightly hazy dark orange golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of wheat, yeast and mild reddish malt. Taste of mild reddish malt, wheat, hints of smoked malt, red berries, yeast.

Aroma: Fruity sweet with apples and oranges. Flavour: Fruity sweet with caramel and a sugary finish. Colour: murky pale brown with a quickly fading offwhite head. From: Bottle @ Voldby Købmandsgård Nov. 2016.

Murky orange, airy offwhite head. Malty aroma, light hints if spice. Sweet flavour, malt, caramel and notes of the typical hefe esters and spice later on.

Color ambar, cremosa, abundante espuma (3 dedos). Aroma a plátano, piña y galleta. Muy marcado. Tono dulce en el que se repiten los sabores del aroma, en un conjunto cremoso y bebible. Algo plana en conjunto, aunque agradable.

500ml bottle purchased at Vinmonopolet Tromsø Langnes. Cloudy amber coloured body under a tiny, stable, beige head leaving fair lacing behind. Smell of caramel, cinnamon, and dark wheat. Dark bread, marzipan, honey, and spices to the taste character. Slightly roasted ending. Fine bodied. An exciting Christmas beer, maybe a tad too sweet in the long run (shared with Finn Arvid, Tromsø 19.11.2014).

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Mørk gyldenbrun. Uklar. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. God ferskenaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken fersken, plommer og aprikos. Svakt syrlig etter hvert med innslag av krydder. Ikke særlig julestemning her.

Bottle at home. The colour is hazy orange with a light beige, creamy and medium head. Has a fruity and sweet aroma with spices, especially cardamom, pepper, cloves and berries. Nice. The flavour is alike with a touch of alcohol. Has a soft and slick mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. A nice and spicy hefeweizen, but is a bit unbalanced in the flavour.

Bottle from Brugsen, CPH - Pours fuzzy amber colour with persistent off-white head. Doughy bread, yeasty, wheaty notes, with some good fruit nuances, banana, and cloves in the finish. Decent.
