A stout inspired by the heartwarming British classic—Sticky Toffee Pudding. We went all in, steaming 200 kg of dates for 12.5 hours to create a rich, syrupy base packed with deep caramelized sweetness.
We infused Papua New Guinea vanilla, adding creamy vanilla fudge notes. Everything melting together into layers of sweet dough and dark fruit, bringing that perfect bakery-style treat.
Cheers!

aroma is salty, brown sugary sweetness also a tart fruity note , blending into the saltiness, some bitterness, the bitterness reminds me of an imp stout with tons of coffee. it could also be the aroma of an imperial stout that had gone sour by accident or purpose. looking forward to flavor..
poured clear dark brown settled dark brown to black, huge smooth head that went a away after a minute or two.
flavor is quite sweet, chocolate, vanilla, toffee, butter caramel, ending is distincly bitter with what i think is roasted malty bitterness blended with some dark bitter caramel bitterness and some bitter-nutshell-you-should-not-eat bitterness, almost bordering burnt plastic bitterness. the palate is crazy thick, like oil. overall a bit messy and weird and below par for moresleutel who does excellent black ones.

24/IV/25 - 44cl can from Mr. Hop (webshop) @ Peter’s 50th birthday party, Cabane Banane (Gent), BB: 4/III/27, canned: 4/III/25, batch: #882 (2025-377) Thanks to Peter for sharing today’s beers!
Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: sugary, alcohol, sweet impression, caramel, chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sugary, nice roast, alcohol, chocolate, some coffee, roasted. Aftertaste: good roast, little bitter, lots of dark chocolate, caramel, a hint of vanilla, more sugary, toffee, nice!
