Keg at Mt Faber Steakhouse & Brewery, Singapore. Hazy dark brown, mid sized head. Toasty fruity nose. Mid dry with light body and clean mouthfeel. Roasty with notes of licorice root. Lightly metallic finish.

Draft - Light toffee and nutty notes. Jet brown with a rich beige head. Nutty and some toffee sweetness. Touch of bitterness in the finish.

Draft at AdstraGold, Singapore. Brown with a tan head. Aroma of malt, raisin, light licorice, caramel and light nutty notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at the Brewpub. Poured a clear dark brown with a short-lived frothy light tan head. The aroma is smoky roast, nutty liqourice. The flavour is moderate liqouice bitter with a dry coffee, floral hop bitter palate.

Draught at the brewpub
Dark brown color with compact head, but not persistent. Very light aroma of roasted malt. Weak mouthfeel, with light flavor of roasted malt, very light coffee, a light metallic touch, a hint of yeast, a bit more bitter than the others.
Drinkable if you don’t think too much.

Draught (sampled) at the brewpub in Singapore on July 9, 2013. The list at the brewpub stated Alco.: 4% +/- 0.5% but brewery’s website states Alco.:3%+/-0.5%.Clear brown color, off-white head. Sweet, tobacco scent. Sweet, malty, mineral taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
