Pint can. Caramel malt aroma with notes of toasted malt, nutty malt, cocoa, bready malt and clove. Pours dark caramel colored with half a finger of tan head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with rich caramel, toasted malt and bready malt flavors. Finishes smooth with nutty malt, cocoa and clove flavors. Decent dunkel.

16oz can. Drinkable Dunkel, though a little chalky at times, just doesn't have that rich smoothness of a German, or even a good brewpub. not that impressive.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear dark brown with a foamy tan head that laced. Malty aroma. Med body. Not dry, but not sweet. Moderately bitter - floral/grass. Good flavor.
