Deep potent brown coloured body with a thin off-white head that leaves a nice lace. Aroma of roasted malt, toffee, peanuts and a touch of chocolate. Medium-bodied; Strong roasty flavour with a nice texture, some good chocolate overtones and a mild sweetness. Aftertaste has a bit of class with some layered tastes, a bit of a roasty finish but good all-around. Overall, a very nice beer showing good flavour and a complexity that most stouts simply don’t have.
