Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured an almost black color with a medium sized creamy brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was very strong vanilla extract and nothing else. Pleasant but one dimensional. The flavor was very strong vanilla extract followed by a musty note and a presence reminiscent of mildew. Long finish. Medium bodied and creamy. Meh.
