Bottle. Red / brown color with a medium head. Yeast at the bottom. Light aroma of fruit, caramel and hints of yeast. Sweet flavour of dried fruit, candy and ends up malty with a warm feeling from the alcohol.

[Bottle 7.9%] Red-ish amber colour with a slight haze. Large head, doesn’t last long, though. Fruity, somewhat sourish caramell aroma. Sweet and smooth malt character. The alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle. Creamy white mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Very malty aroma but too much bread!!! Very sweet flavor, average finish, and oily palate. Better bocks are available.

Bottle at London Gathering Nov 2005. Very deep chestnut coloour with thickish beige lasting head. Some stilton on the aroma (either that or the cheese had started to waft by then). Some brown sugar with more stilton and some sweet alcohol. Not a bad finish

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark redbrown, unfiltered beer with a lightly brownish head. Sweetish and very, very vinous - less bitter than your typical Doppelbock. Unusual and very refined. 110704
