Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark amber color with an enormous fluffy orange-white head that lingered forever and left good lacing. The aroma was piney and grapefruity hops with a hint of maraschino cherries. The flavor was bitter, tart, tangy and sweet with notes of pine, orange, pineapple, cherry, oak and sugar. Long finish. Medium body. Tasty.

4 oz cask pour at Heavy Seas Alehouse in Baltimore. Hazy golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of cherries, dark fruit, citrus. Tastes of floral notes, citrus, light cherries, subtle woody notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium-low carbonation. Twigs and cherries are nicely integrated.
