500 ml bottle. Hazy reddish orange body with a beige head. Aroma has some kind of a fruity sourness. Flavor is fruity as well, apricot, mandarin and malt. The bitterness seems also a bit fruity. A bit strange.

(Bottle 50 cl) Neat, clear, amber golden with a dense, white head. Some lightly roasted malt in the nose. Medium body with lightly fruit accents and a vague, underlying sweetness. The finish is dry without much bitterness. 030507

Bottle. Almost golden-colored, with a nice, white head. Metallic aroma with apricot, orange and bitter fruityness. It is a bit strange, might be off? The flavor has a strange fruityness and a finish with metal and some bitterness. Strange beer. (070216)

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of berries, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet malty with and acidic note of berries, which reminds me of a mixture of cowberries and raspberries, leading to a fruity yet bitter end. The mouthfeel is very sparkling due to a high level of carbonation.

Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Light amber, not red. Nice malty and hoppy aroma. Alas not so good flavor, way too thin. Almost tasteless. Exstremely short finish and very watery. Too expensive as most braunsteins.

Great amber colour and clear, not so red as one could assume based on the name. Description on the label matches this beer perfectly: not much taste of the hops slight taste of caramel. Reminds me most of all of Hancock - just milder.
