750ml bottle from Discount Liquor. Unfiltered brown-amber body, off-white head fades away. Rustic, malty, hints of Biere de Garde in there with the Saison. I suppose the hops might add a little bit of an English feel. Not quite as complex as some Fantome beers, but still a unique enjoyable beer. Malty, sweet finish, hints of classic Fantome peeking through.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy amber, beige head. Aroma: Malty, spicy, yeast. Taste: Spicy, malt, slightly sourish, notes of leathery and horse blanket Brett funk (meant to be?), over moderate hopbitterness. Dry, bitter and Bretty finish. Medium body, below average carbonation. Light to moderate sweetness. As a Brett and bitter lover, I like this one. But as said before: I wonder if this was meant to be a bit Bretty?
