Bottled (BB 05/2007). Light amber color, small white head. Aroma has honey, grass and flowery hops - very summery nose. Medium-bodied. Well-hopped, some lemon and apricot underlying. Refreshing and tasty for being only 4.0%.

Cask gravity at Bowl Inn, Charing, BF 2006. Gold, thin beige head. Yeasty aroma, bit farty. Some good fruit in mouth, citrus fruit mix, some juicy pale malt. Finish is tingly with earthy hop. OK golden bitter with good juicyness and spicy finish.

Bottle. Golden with a small white head hoppy and with a lingering finish, fine but not great.

Sampled cask conditioned. Pale amber coloured. Hay and flowers in the aroma. Light mouthfeel, initial sweetness. Salty, bitterish finish. A well balanced summer ale, and a lovely thirst quencher.
