DraughtVery draught Guinness-like head, but remaining layered, over black beer; shards of lace. Nutty, rum, raisins, alcohol-drenched wood, roast, charred fruit as raisins in a bread. Sweet rum, almost sugary, and aromatic, almost perfumy flavours. Rather than cognac, I would have guessed Pineau des Charentes... Sweet roast, sherry, sweet grapes. Very well-bodied, alcoholburn, chewy, good carbonation. Quite good stout, if a tad too sweet.
