Draught pint in Walkabout, Lincoln on 24th Nov 2017. Cold, wet and golden, white crown held for a while before turning into a wisp and collar. Refreshing enough, slight citrus leanings flavour wise, but not a drink for a cold November afternoon in Lincoln.

CAN. Clear golden, sticky white head. Clean pale malts aroma, pretty nice like a good German Helles. Watery lager body, pale malts, a hint of cardboard, soft body, no hops. Not bad.

F: big, white, good retention. C: gold, clear. A: malty, corny, sweet grainy, hint of caramel. T: malty, sweet grassy, sweet bread, light to medium body, medium carbonation, macro lager as well, 440ml can from Waitrose supermarket in Horsham.

Can at Tenzing Drive house clearance ...vintage 2013 some kind of .rar 1888 (presume 125 aanniversary spcial) Ltd Ed can - this was the highlight ! Golden with a well appointed white cap. Nose is pale malts, grains, cereal. Taste is papery, grains, light floral notes, straw, faint bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitter close. Par for style.
