Old Trafford, 5th ODI and hoping England can beat the old enemy - and having an old enemy beer (albeit brewed just down the road)! Clear gold with a frothy white head, little to no aroma, just a whispering of cereal. Cold and fizzy, very refreshing but bordering on tastless, sweet cereal malt and citrus fruit if anything, just a hint of bitterness in the finish.

Draught pint in Walkabout, Lincoln on 24th Nov 2017. Cold, wet and golden, white crown held for a while before turning into a wisp and collar. Refreshing enough, slight citrus leanings flavour wise, but not a drink for a cold November afternoon in Lincoln.

Not a lot of difference with the normal Fosters, maybe a bit sweet, but again, boring and uninspiring.

CAN. Clear golden, sticky white head. Clean pale malts aroma, pretty nice like a good German Helles. Watery lager body, pale malts, a hint of cardboard, soft body, no hops. Not bad.

Can. A gift, sort of. Clear gold. Patchy, white head. Syrupy nose. Some grain. Taste is like beer vomit. It’s drinkable just about. A tick is a tick...
