Hazy golden color; fine perlage. Elegant hoppy aroma, the English hop doesn’t lie, with good malt sweetness and some vanilla. The malt profile just supports a powerful bitterness, that starts balanced and ends overwhelming; it’s a dry bitterness, with lots of hop oils (as different to resins for me); light smokeyness; a bit fruity; the final reminds the Italian herbal digestives, but without the syrupy sweetness. A palate killer. Very well brewed. Excellent.

Bottle: Straw golden, huge fluffy white head; resinous, citrousy, hoppy nose with big touch of Pilsner-like sweet-malt in the background; strong bitter flavour, almost oily MF; lingering citrousy, strong bitter-aromatic finish. Very aromatic brew, almost refreshing, with very well hidden alcohol.......

An orange beer with a slight haze underneath a thin white head. The aroma is grassy and hoppy, while the flavor is very sweet - too sweet for my liking. After the first unslaught of sweetness the hops comes pounding both with notes of grass and straw - to me it is somewhat like chewing on hops.

500ml bottle shared with CinnamonGirl and Magne at Sommarøy 25.08.2006. Golden coloured. Some white foam. Hoppy profile in aroma and flavour. Taste of grapefruit and orange with a good amount of hops. Powerful bitter ending. A good beer, but not so well balanced and a bit out of tune.

Bottled at Cph Beerfestival. Clear, golden IPA with no carbonation, and a dense, white head leaving nice lacings. Quite hoppy aroma and flavor, with floral tones, pine and grapefruit. Medium to thin body and a long hop-bitter finish. Not a beer I would drink often, but it is quite quaffable. (060519)

Golden colour, small white head. Citric hop aroma. The flavour has an astringent bitterness which I do not care for after a while. Good mouthfeel.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear pilsener golden with a creamy, white head leaving some laces. Fresh, citrusy, hoppy nose. Medium body completetely dominated by the fresh grapefruitish aroma hops that also leave a distinct bitterness on my palate. 190506
