Bottle from Stefan: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is bourbon, vanilla, dark chocolate, some booze. Not too boozy in the taste in spite of high abv. Sweetish. Body is on the lighter side. Bourbon is not overpowering. No real bitterness. Would have liked some more body to smooth this out.

12 oz bottle. best by 08/01/2029. Pours an opaque dark brown color with a small beige head that soon vanishes into a fine ring around the glass. The aroma is big and bold with chocolates, vanilla and anise. The taste, like the aroma features big bold flavors of chocolates, vanilla and anise. The palate is full and oily with soft carbonation. Finishes long and glorious. The alcohol is well hidden. Overall: Decent anniversary offering. I can find no fault with this beer--but I wont give them a 5.0 because I'm still pissed that they discontinued smoke jumper. Paired very well with some sarvecchio cheese.
