Crisp clear ruby-tinted copper coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of strong hops, rye, apricots and caster sugar - nice and very potent! Medium-bodied; Potent hops and rye flavours up front with a very strong and pungent taste throughout. Aftertaste bitter, but showing a good rye and grain flavour. Overall, a nice rye which I don’t typically like, but works well and is executed nicely. I sampled this pint on draught at the brewery in Traverse City, Michigan on 05-November-2010.
