Bottle #1653/2220. The beer pours a dark reddish-brown color with a thick light beige head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is oaky with dark fruit and malt notes. Medium-bodied with a vinous oak character and flavors of earthy yeast and malt. The finish is mildly sour with a lingering fruity and oaky aftertaste. Good beer overall.
