Cask conditioned at Inn on the Green, Bristol, November 2006. Pale orange with a slight white head. Aroma contained some grassy hops. Flavour was citric with a bit of residual sweetness. Finish was dry and decent. A good beer - Archers may not be the best, but the beers are perfectly drinkable and I will be sorry if they close down.

Cask at C4, Odense: Pale yellow with fresh creamy white head. Nose and taste of floral, malts & fruits. Soft body - thin texture. Malty and moderate hoppy for a IPA. ØV!

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A slightly hazy orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of fruit - especially peaches and mango. The flavor is sweet malty and very fruity, but a bit boring. And the body is thin.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Gold/copper, thin off white head. Nice enough hop/caramel/yeast mix for a slightly hoppy bitter. Yeah, it’s fine, soft in mouth. Hop on end is ok.

[Cask at GBBF] Hazy deep golden. Restrained grapefruit aroma. Medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel and mediu, body. Somewhat sugary, but aromatic hops dominates, though the flavours aren’t that intense. Low bitterness.

(Cask at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool, 24 July) Colour is golden yellow with amber notes, frothy head. Nose is fruity and hoppy with citrus, grapefruit and a hint of toffee. Taste is fruity with a distinct grapefruit tone, notes of orange peel and toffe. Nice hoppy bitterness in the finish. Very nice, a positive surprise.
