Pours hazy brown with a big, firm head. Yeasty aroma with notes of bananas. Favour is somewhat sourish with notes of cocoa and liquorice. There’s nothing wrong with this beer; it’s just a bit plain and simple.

bbf 2009.01.30 66cl bottle. aroma sort of weizen but faint and not very fresh. besides citrus and alc there is some dust or cardboard. cloudy golden (bit boring), very nice thick offwhite head. sweet, slightly citrussy, alcoholic flavor. reminds me of other danish macro breweries interpretation of weissbier(not good). without regard to style, the beer is refreshing and quite nice. its just that those germans are darn good at this type of beer.

(66 cl bottle purchased at Kvickly, Helsingör, Denmark)On March 15, 2008BB 16.07.2008Slight shady copper color, tan head. Sweet, grainy, milk, hoppy an dcitrus scent. Smoke, sweet, alcohol taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Sweet lambic aftertaste.

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. Hazy dark amber. Light banana aroma. Medium sweet with some light perfumy banana esters and bubblegum. Simple malt character gives a clean, rather hard mouthfeel. Winegums takes over the finish. Decent flavourwise.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Sweet wheat malty aroma with spome spicy hints. Sweet malty wheaty flavor with some spicy hints. Sweet malty finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Clear golden copper body with a white head. Aroma is malty and caramel. Flavor is sweet, light roasted caramel and some hops. Not a typical weizen or dunkelweizen but quite nice anyway.

33/66 cL bottle. Pours brown and unclear. Has off whitehead that disappears quite fast. Aroma is malt and orange. Taste has corn, caramel and orange. Nice bitter and caramel aftertaste.

An unclear dark amber beer with a huge fluffy light orange head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with light notes of banana, malt, caramel, oranges, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet wheaty with notes of caramel and a light acidity from the wheat, and light notes of banana and oranges. The mouthfeel is very smooth, and the end is dry and wheaty, though with the caramel lingering for a long time.
