(473ml can from glasbanken.se) Pours black with a small but lingering tan head and some lace. Notes of sweet dark malts with confectionery chocolate, vanilla, molasses and toffee, cake, moderate bourbon, sweet coffee, some coconut, some drying wood in the middle of the sip on. There's roast but it is soft and feeds into the doughy dessert vibe. The finish is pretty sweet but there's drying alcohol, vanilla/coconut hits and some bourbon/wood. Medium-full sticky body with very soft carbonation. Total pastry stout but that's the idea here, and it's pretty successful. Ideally I'd like more coconut and a little more roast.

Bottle split at Tipples belated 10K, CBC Islington, 18/12/18 thanks to the Wingman. Black with a well presented tan head. Nose is sweet malts, chocolate, toffee, boozey exhaust, brown sugar melt. Taste comprises chocolate brownies, toffee crisp, molasses, mellow roast, dark malts, brown sugar. Full bodied, oily feel, warming balanced boost offered at the curtain call. Another solid fun time boost bomb from the Bruery.

Can shared at Craft beer co Islington. 18/12/2018. Many thanks! A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a fine dark tan head. Aroma is sweet spicy roast, cakey, ginger, hot alcohol, cinnamon. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, smooth roast, cinnamon, bun, ginger, salty, smooth roast, cakey. Palkates is medium sweet, marshamllow, velvety, smooth, . Boozy.

16 oz. can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with coconut, some bourbon barrels, and medium roast. Flavour is decadent, with lots of bourbon barrels, followed by intense coconut, and a touch of vanilla. Decadent, rich and complex. Certainly sweet, but not cloying. Very good.
