Hori blind tasting at Hopa. Pours deeper, blackish brown with a tan head. Nose is packed with chocolate, coffee, funk and earthy notes, lovely. Taste is moderately tart, funky, showing lots of coffee, cocoa, earthy notes, leather, berries, stone fruits and vineous notes. Closes with a long lasting, fruity, funky, coffeeish finish, has a medium, somewhat dry body and soft to average carbonation. I'm admittedly partial to coffee sours but boi this is delicious.

Sample at Bob's Bar during the First Friday Bodhi Cask! event on 11/02/2018. Clear brown pour with mahogany around the edges, and a thin off-white head that recedes quickly to a wispy film. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of roast coffee, tart fruit and oak. Medium body with flavors of vinous oak, tart berries, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is roast coffee and tart berry. Good beer all around.
